A Counter Book is a type of hard bound notebook normally used by school, university students and for office records. The standard color of the front and back cover page of Counter Book is Black while the spine is pasted with a Red Tape or Cloth. Nowadays, different colours and designs are used to make cover pages of the counter book.
Counter book binding can be either Section Thread Sewn or Centre Thread Sewn. They are available in different Quires ranging from 1 to 6 (1 quire = 96 pages).
